  6. 10 de may. de 2024 · Aswad started out with a strictly roots-oriented sound, but they started working dub into the mix as early as 1982’s A New Chapter of Dub before dipping into dancehall flavours as well. They found their biggest success in 1988 with the No. 1 single “Don’t Turn Around” from their Distant Thunder album, but plenty more hits would follow.

Recording sessions took place at the Fallout Shelter, The Point, Eastcote, Strongroom, Sarm West & East, Rooster, and RAK Studios in London. Production was handled entirely by Aswad, except two tracks produced with Chris Porter and Ron Fair
