24 de jun. de 2020 · When Thin Lizzy broke up after the Thunder & Lightning tour it wasn't a result of the music but rather band members that had simply burned out. BBC Radio One live is a testament to the music. Yes, it's the heaviest Lizzy ever sounded but for many of us there was nothing wrong with that.
This was recorded at the Reading Festival in the summer of 1983 on the Thin Lizzy farewell tour, and it happened to be the last gig they would ever played on British soil and as it turns out is a much better put together album than the live double Life album released late in 1983 to document that tour.BBC Radio 1 Live In Concert captures the dynamic of a complete gig rather than a patched up ...
