On 12 April 1970, Screaming Lord Sutch invited former members of the Savages to a jam at The Country Club, Hamstead, London: Ritchie Blackmore on guitar, Nick Simper on bass, Matthew Fisher on organ, Brian Keith on trombone and Carlo Little on drums. Blackmore had just finished a 5-date tour of Scotland with Deep Purple.

"Hands Of Jack The Ripper"単独で初めてデジタル・リマスターされた盤。 同時に"Heavy Friends"も単独でリマスターされ、両方とも日本語解説付の輸入盤という形で日本盤がリリースされていたと記憶します。
タイトル・トラックの”Hands of Jack The Ripper”では、相当猟奇的な演出をしていたかもしれないような様子が、音から聞き取れますが、あとからダビングしたような音声がそこかしこにあることから、どこまでが実際のステージだったのかは、微妙なところ。
