I The Box Tops sono stati un gruppo rock/soul statunitense originario di Memphis nel Tennessee.Sono diventati famosi per l'enorme successo avuto col brano The Letter del 1967 e di altri brani come Neon Rainbow, Cry Like A Baby, Soul Deep, I Met Her in Church.. Sono considerati tra i maggiori esponenti del soul bianco della seconda metà degli anni 60.

When most people remember The Box Tops; they remember, The Letter, Cry Like A Baby, Neon Rainbow, and, Soul Deep, and you will not find them here HOWEVER what you will find is more very good songs by this band and along with, Soul Deep, I think they were some of the band's best. Maybe not Chart wise but they are my personal favorites.
