Am 20. März 1977 gab Hillage im Rahmen der "L"-Tour ein Konzert in der Otto-Hahn-Schule in Bensberg (bei Bergisch Gladbach), das vom WDR mitgeschnitten und ein wenig zeitversetzt als "Rockpalast" im deutschen Fernsehen ausgestrahlt wurde. Unterwegs war Steve Hillage mit einer Band, die er extra für die Tournee zusammengestellt hatte.
