9 de nov. de 2014 · This is my first time listening to this record and most of the songs on here I have never heard before. The score that this record has received is boggling my mind. The two sides of the record are very different but both have something to offer. The second side features country Neil complete with a fiddle, but his guitar work is brash and powerful.

Neil's weird cull-pile of an LP. Hastily assembled as he was dealing with son Ben's CP. It actually hangs together well. Don't take out a second mortgage to buy it, though. Side One sounds like the same sessions that produced 'Hitch Hiker' and the outstanding 'Will To Love'. Neil at his most close-mic'ed, acoustic and intimate.
