  3. After your GCSEs, students can choose whether to apply to a Sixth Form College or join a school sixth form for their A Levels and BTECs. The main difference is a Sixth Form College only provides education to 16–19 year olds, offering a more mature learning environment, whereas in a school sixth form you are still part of the school community with 12–19 year olds.

  5. Esher Sixth Form College offers two main sources of financial support to students – the Bursary Fund and Free Meals, with our ‘Student Finance Statement’ providing further details. Occasionally other possible sources of support are also advertised to relevant students, such as local bursaries provided by rotary clubs or grants aimed at students progressing to university.

  6. Esher Sixth Form College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. There is therefore a requirement for all successful candidates to apply for an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

  7. Ofsted. Esher Sixth Form College is delighted to announce that following an Ofsted inspection in September 2022, the College has been graded ‘Outstanding’ in all areas of provision.
