Certo andava preso con un po’ di senso dell’umorismo, ma allo stesso tempo non voleva essere affatto totalmente scherzoso, ed invece fu proprio così che venne interpretato ».
Go Girl Crazy! opens with the payin' dues "The Next Best Thing". The cowbell-clunkin' intro anthem sets the tone for the remaining eight tracks, which includes a pair of covers. Beating the Ramones to the "California Sun" punch, The Dictators roll through the remake hitting on all cylinders, while the groups choice of "I Got You Babe" works as a compliment to the ego-driven intro song.
