Pelham Memorial high school closed on March 13th, 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and remained closed for the remainder of the school year. The initial closure occurred during the middle of our third quarter, and all students were given the option of taking a pass/fail grade or a numerical grade for the third quarter.

The new design came after PMHS Principal Mark Berkowitz sat in on a sociology class in which teacher Gregory Kopstein taught a lesson on what makes people pay close attention to a product or idea for an extended period of time—called the stickiness factor.
