The Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre is a full-time conservatory offering post-secondary training in Dramatic Arts Acting in the heart of new york city. As the home of the Meisner Technique we prepare our students for the professional demands of working in all areas of theatre, film, and television.
Applicants are encouraged to ensure their Application Form, $75.00 Application Fee, and photo arrive prior to supporting documents (letters of reference, resume, transcripts, etc.) to expedite the application process. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis based on class capacity. Space is limited, so we suggest that you apply early.
Tours of the school are given by recent alumni and are given on weekdays between 10am-3pm throughout the year. Come to New York City and visit the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre!
