Morbius the Living Vampire (born Michael Morbius, also known as Morgan Michaels and Nikos Michaels) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Roy Thomas and originally designed by penciler Gil Kane , he debuted as a tragic, sympathetic adversary of the superhero Spider-Man in The Amazing Spider-Man #101 (October 1971).
