Primary to Secondary. At Bournville Primary Provision we take pride in aiming for all our children to be excellent readers, writers and mathematicians as they move through to Bournville Secondary Provision. We believe in traditional values in all areas of school life which allows learning and progress for each child to be at the heart of it.
Bournville School is a non-selective academy. It has about 660 boys and girls aged between 4 and 16. (See here for details of the primary school.) In November 2021 the school was rated ‘Requires Improvement’ by Ofsted. This school is a member of Fairfax Multi Academy Trust.

Primary Curriculum Intent 2023-2024. At present the curriculum is thematic and is currently being redesigned at KS1 and KS2 around ‘Big Questions’, to provide cross-curricular links which will deepen pupils’ understanding and spark their curiosity. All pupils are taught the full-breadth of the National Curriculum by their class teacher.
