21 de feb. de 2017 · British electronic group Leftfield will reissue their 1995 debut album Leftism in May this year as Leftism 22. The reissue comes in the form of a double deluxe CD edition which will feature the remastered album (Neil Barnes and Paul Daley have taken care of remastering duties) on the first CD and a bonus disc of the 11 album tracks remixed by a host of “top house/electronica/techno artists”.

Leftfield have addressed the passage of time with an up-to-the-minute roster of remixers for the bonuses. Still, the results are generally pretty disappointing – they all put their own mark on things and leave enough of the original versions in to make the connection, but not many come close to the originals.

The reissue, dubbed 'Leftism 22', will feature remastered versions of the album's original 11 tracks as well as 11 brand-new remixes from the likes of Hodge & Peverelist, Ben Sims, Vioski, Skream and more.
