In June 2015, Bobby Blotzer formed a band called Bobby Blotzer's Ratt Experience to tour. In August 2015, Juan Croucier formed a touring band that plays Ratt's deep cuts, with the band debuting in September. Within days, Blotzer criticized Croucier for using the band's logo, arguing trademark infringement.

More recently, the lineup of the new project was revealed by Blotzer’s Ratt co-manager Jason Green. Bobby Blotzer’s Rat Attack will allegedly consist of Lynch Mob’s Gabriel Colon, DC4’s Matt Duncan, Ohio’s Dougie ‘Licks’ Manross, who is 24, and Holy Mother’s Mickey Lyxx.

Raised in a blue collar neighborhood in Pittsburgh, PA, he achieved fame and fortune playing drums for Ratt in the mid-‘80s, only to find himself, and the kind of hard rock his band played, out of fashion throughout the ‘90s.
