The Mamas & the Papas closed out the festival with an exuberant set, although it was overshadowed by some of the more dynamic performances of the weekend. The Mamas and Papas was one of the best groups to come out of the 60's. Whenever one of their songs was on the radio everything stopped so you could listen to every word and note. This anthology is the best one ever produced.
