Dabei macht er sich neben dem Roadmovie-Genre auch amerikanische Hillbilly-Traditionen zunutze, indem er "Geisterstädte" und Gehöfte mit skurrilen Provinzlern belebt, die es aber faustdick hinter den Ohren haben.
