Gabri CHRISTA was born and raised in Curaçao, Netherlands Antilles, but is now based in New York. She is a choreographer and performer, producer and filmmaker. Gabri Christa is guest of honor at the 21st Annual Dance Camera West Festival, an international festival held in Los Angeles that presents the best dance films from around the world. On Saturday January 21st, Gabri will be leading a workshop and the festival closes with a presentation of Gabri’s films including her experimental documentary short Sheila and an artist discussion.
