  2. City of London School opened a new playing field in Catford and in 1905 the grounds were finally made available to the girlsschool. The pupils travelled there to play cricket and games on Monday afternoons. The programme at the 1907 Sports Day included tug of war, kangaroo races, orange and teaspoon, needle and thread, and a three legged race.

  5. Our latest tweet. 13 May 2024. Last week, our year 7s welcomed @bcsmaps to City for an insightful workshop. Looking at the Japanese earthquake, tsunami and nuclear disaster of 2011, students created maps for humanitarian aid, military and medical aid workers.

  6. Selection of candidates for 13+ 2027 begins when a child is in Year 6, to join CLS in Year 9. Please note that for 13+ entry from 2028, candidates will apply and sit entrance assessments in Year 8 and we will confirm details of the Year 8 assessments in due course. Bursaries are available at this point of entry to cover up to 100% of school fees.
