Living Colour – amerykański zespół, powstały w 1984 r. w Nowym Jorku, grający trudną do zaklasyfikowania mieszankę heavy metalu, rocka, free jazzu, funky, hip-hopu i innych stylów – określaną nieraz jako crossover.. Grupa podpisała kontrakt z wytwórnią Epic Records (obecnie Sony) w 1987 r., wydając pierwszą płytę – Vivid – rok później.
Living Colour (im Cover-Artwork teilweise auch Living Coloür geschrieben) ist eine Alternative-Metal-Band, die 1984 in New York gegründet wurde. Sie hatte ihren Karrierehöhepunkt Ende der 1980er/Anfang der 1990er Jahre und gilt als eine der Vorreiter des Crossovers und des Funk Metals.Nach einer Unterbrechung von 1995 bis 2002 ist die Band auch heute noch aktiv.

Living Colour is een Amerikaanse funkmetalband uit New York die in 1984 werd opgericht door gitarist Vernon Reid. De groep verzilverde twee opeenvolgende Grammy's voor Best Hard Rock Performance ; eerst in 1990 met hun single Cult of Personality , daarna in 1991 met hun album Time's Up .
