After serving as a deacon at Holy Trinity Parish in Georgetown, Washington, DC, he was sent to St. Peter’s Church in Toronto where he first served as Associate Pastor and then the Parish Administrator. In 2016. Fr. Tom produced a documentary on the founder of the Paulist Fathers entitled Isaac Hecker and the Journey of Catholic America.
The future Paulist studied for two years at the Paulist minor seminary – St. Peter’s College in Baltimore – after graduating from high school. He then entered the Paulist novitiate at Mount Paul in New Jersey for one year before heading to Washington, D.C., to attend St. Paul’s College for six years.
