No Borders Here is the second album by Jane Siberry. The album's single "Mimi on the Beach" was Siberry's breakthrough hit in her native Canada, and remains one of her most famous songs. Toronto's CFNY was the first radio station in Canada to recognize the song's hit potential. The song's video was also one of the first influential clips on MuchMusic.
Biografia. Inizia la sua carriera di musicista negli anni ottanta, esibendosi con performance folk acustiche nei club di Toronto. Nel 1981 autoproduce l'album d'esordio, l'omonimo Jane Siberry. Nel 1984 firma per un' etichetta discografica canadese che, in collaborazione con la A&M e con Windham Hill pubblica No Bordes Here ( 1984 ).
