Jim Threapleton is a contemporary painter working in London and Vancouver. He studied History of Art at Manchester University before establishing an international profile as a filmmaker. In 2008 his BIFA nominated debut feature film, Extraordinary Rendition premiered in competition at the Edinburgh and Locarno International Film Festivals.
