ClickUp is great If you need a swiss army knife, a tool that has a huge variety of options to choose from but not high quality options. Clickup as any other app in this category will have some things that will work perfect and others that will not.

Look I love ClickUp and thought they were going to be so customizable and great for my business but they keep just falling short if my minimum requirement. My minimum requirement is to simply have repeating tasks each month that maintain a history of conversation for those tasks.

22 de feb. de 2024 · We’ve just migrated from Asana to Clickup. The main reasons are the configurability and in-app time tracking. Also the first paid tier has lots of what you need higher tiers for in asana. Also assigning two resource to one task isn’t doable in asana. That said, you can have a single task across two places in Asana.
For me that’s not a CRM. Yesss perfectly possible! Yes, you can make an automation that you will be added as the ‘watcher’ or ‘assigned to you’. From that point you can simply update your notification settings. You can also add an automation for a related task and send emails through the ClickUp activity panel.

2 de jun. de 2022 · Seems like clickup has literally every feature you could imagine, so someone who needs a lot of features might benefit from clickup, and also someone who wants a standard workflow template. (I feel like Trello is more of building blocks, which gives you more options for customization but requires adding things to get a similar feature set.)
19 de oct. de 2021 · For software development ClickUp is awful and simply cannot compare to Jira. My company currently uses ClickUp and almost everyone hates it. It tries to do too many things and isn’t great at anything. After a lot of complaining it looks like we’re going back to Jira. Never though I would be so excited to use Jira but here we are.
It would be the best if found something that synchronizes with GitLab's projects and issues but we even consider switching our primary tool. Jira and Clickup seem to be the best option so far. Some say that Clickup can do everything, others say that it lacks features. The same goes for Jira.
