If you play because of the core mechanics of the game and not to grind out a pass, contracts or ranked then I would say yes. The player base is down but not so much that there are long queues for non-ranked game modes. Ultimately, it’s a free game. All you have to lose is the time it takes to install and if you are not happy uninstall.

For anyone that missed it, Hi-Rez announced a huge shake-up in how it operates. As a summary, they're no longer going to be called Hi-Rez Studios, but Hi-Rez Ventures, which will be split between 3 studios.

It has WAY better gunplay than fortnite, and being free to play on all platforms means it SHOULD be more popular than other bomb plant/defuse games. The Problem with the battlepass is that it doesn't give you all the Rogue Bucks back. Most battlepasses give 100% of what you spent on it back if you complete them.
